- Annette Roux
Mrs.Roux is Chairwoman of the Beneteau Foundation since 2005, which became the Beneteau Foundation in 2020 (Endowment Fund), Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of BERI 21 (Groupe Beneteau’s controlling holding structure) and sits on Beneteau SA’s Board of Directors.
She joined the family company Chantiers BENETEAU in 1964 to lead the small-scale traditional yard’s transformation from commercial fishing to recreational boats. She was Chairwoman of the Board of Directors from 1976 to 2005. In 2005, she structured the Group’s governance based on a limited company with Management and Supervisory Boards.
Vice-Chairwoman of Groupe Beneteau’s Supervisory Board from 2005 to 2015, she recently handed over the position of Vice-Chairman to her son, Louis-Claude Roux in 2015. In 2019, the Beneteau Group returned to a Board of Directors system.
Mrs. Roux was also President of the French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN) from 1992 to 2009 and a member of the L’Oréal Group’s Board of Directors from 2007 to 2015.
