Hervé Gastinel is Groupe Beneteau's Chief Executive Officer since 2015.

Hervé Gastinel started his career at the Ministry of Finance in 1993. He was then technical advisor in charge of economy, finance and new technologies for the President of the French Senate. In 1998, he joined the Saint-Gobain group as Director of Planning and Strategy. He was appointed General Manager of Saint-Gobain Terreal in 2000, then served as Chairman and CEO of Terreal from 2003 to 2015 under 3 LBOs successively conducted by the investment funds Carlyle/Eurazeo, LBO France and Goldman-Sachs/Park Square. 

A graduate from Ecole Nationale d’Administration(ENA), Ecole Supérieure de Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, Hervé Gastinel also has a postgraduate Master 203 qualification in financial markets, commodities markets and business administration (Paris IX, Dauphine).
