2022 Essentials: a compendium of innovations and commitments that reflect the values and talents of the men and women of Groupe Beneteau

"We would like to thank the 7900 men and women of the Group. Once again, they have demonstrated extraordinary commitment. Together, we have built a stronger Group and are now perfectly positioned to fulfill our Mission: Bringing dreams to water", explains the duo at the head of Groupe Beneteau, Bruno Thivoyon and Gianguido Girotti.

2022: record results confirm the relevance of the transformation plan and the agility of the teams

Over the past three years, the Beneteau Group has been able to respond with agility to a wide range of health, logistical and economic challenges, while positively transforming its business model to make it more profitable and sustainable.

This strategy is based on 4 pillars:

  • Brand excellence

  • Product design excellence

  • Digital acceleration and positioning the Group in service markets

  • A player in sustainable boating

Groupe Beneteau is the only multi-specialist group in the boating industry

"Our goal is not just to sell more boats every year, but to sell every customer the boat of their dreams. We must also think of tomorrow's boats, which integrate connectivity and sustainable navigation", explains Gianguido Girotti, Boat Division CEO

The Groupe Beneteau is present through its 9 global brands and 155 models in 4 strategic markets:

  • DAYBOATING: freedom has never been so aptly named, thanks to new products from the BENETEAU, JEANNEAU, FOUR WINNS, WELLCRAFT and SCARAB brands.

  • REAL ESTATE ON THE WATER: the Group continues to invest and renew in key segments, notably in the world of multihull motor yachts with the PRESTIGE M-LINE.

  • MONOHULL SAILING: with BENETEAU and JEANNEAU, world leaders in monohull sailing, we offer sailors the world over the yacht that will fulfill their wildest dreams.

  • MULTIHULL SAILING: for simple crossings, round-the-world trips or weekly charters, the LAGOON and EXCESS brands offer a unique experience for all globetrotters.

A Boating Solutions division that thinks big as sailing habits evolve and new professions emerge

The year 2022 was marked by an encouraging upturn in our new service markets. Facilitating access to the world of boating through the creation of simple living solutions - that's what this new division, created in June 2022, is all about. The Group's ambition is to get closer to end-users and get as many people on the water as possible, as safely and easily as possible.

"Weekly and daily boat rentals, Boat Clubs, alternative financing models and the Seanapps application all meet this need," says Olivier Maynard, Vice-President of the Boating Solutions division

New products, eco-design and strong growth: the Habitat division consolidates its position as European leader in leisure housing

The Habitat division's three flagship brands - IRM, O'HARA and COCO SWEET - have taken another step forward in 2022, both in terms of comfort and eco-design.

"The Habitat division achieved 41% growth driven by three major factors: a very dynamic market in France, our international expansion (particularly in Southern Europe) and the acceleration of our eco-design approach. We're very proud of these results, and of the commitment of our teams," says Patrick Mahé, CEO Housing Division

By 2022, Groupe Beneteau has also recruited more than 1,600 new employees worldwide, including 1,085 on permanent contracts (of which more than 500 in France).

"I want to make our CSR policy and management system an element of motivation and pride for all our employees, and show a company committed to sustainable development and the advancement of its talents" Yves Lyon-Caen, Chairman of Groupe Beneteau's General Board and CSR Committee.

“We have built a stronger Group”

"We will continue to innovate and commit ourselves every day, everywhere in the world, to bring the dreams of the greatest number of people onto the water." With these words, Bruno Thivoyon, Groupe Beneteau CEO, described 2022 as a year full of successes.
