Cannes 2025: 19 new models and 14 world premieres: Groupe Beneteau reimagines boats for every sailing dream
September 9, 2025, Cannes Yachting Festival
In an uncertain market but driven by an enduring desire to be on the water, Groupe Beneteau is choosing to accelerate. At the 2025 Cannes Boat Show, the global boating leader unveils 19 new models, including 14 world premieres, and introduces a new Sealoft range for the Jeanneau brand. With an ambitious plan of 66 models by 2027—50% more than the previous cycle—the Groupe reaffirms its commitment to making meaningful boating accessible, sustainable, and desirable.
A MARKET IN TRANSITION, BUT A STRONG DESIRE TO BE ON THE WATER
In a politically and economically unstable context, both in Europe and the United States, the boating market remains resilient. Inflation, interest rates, and U.S. tariffs are increasing pressure on industry players. Like all luxury sectors, the boat market faces pricing elasticity challenges, with a growing need to make offerings more accessible while continuously enhancing value.
“The boating market is not facing a demand crisis, but a crisis of confidence. The desire to be on the water is still very much alive,” says Gianguido Girotti, CEO of Groupe Beneteau.
“We must make accessible what no longer is, while enriching the experience where it truly matters.”
THE STRENGTH OF A MULTI-SPECIALIST GROUP
With nine brands and 6,500 employees operating across three complementary markets, Groupe Beneteau has the expertise and financial strength to innovate and adapt. The Group boasts €250 million in net cash, a network of 1,200 distributors, and a solid balance sheet.
“Being a family-owned company for over 140 years, with a long-term strategy, is a true strength,” emphasizes Bruno Thivoyon, Chairman of the Management Board.
MEANINGFUL BOATING: THE RIGHT PROPOSITION FOR EVERY CUSTOMER
“Our mission is clear: to focus on what we call the right proposition for every customer — Meaningful Boating. It means designing and innovating for the right willingness to pay. It means making boating accessible to as many people as possible, without compromising on quality” explains Gianguido Girotti.
“But the right proposition for each client is not limited to price: it is also about creating real value for our customers, designing experiences that matter, and integrating sustainability at the heart of everything we do.”
FROM ENTRY-LEVEL TO HIGH-END YACHTS, 19 NEW MODELS, INCLUDING 14 WORLD PREMIERES, WERE PRESENTED IN CANNES
As a multispecialist, the Groupe Beneteau knows how to respond to pricing elasticity and the demand for upgraded offerings. In Cannes, this is reflected in 19 new models and 14 world premieres, covering all its segments.
Accessibility Through Price — Without Compromising Quality or Innovation: 5 new models — Sun Odyssey 415, Oceanis 47, Oceanis 52, Lagoon 38, and Trawler 37 — are offered at 10 to 15% less than their predecessors, making boating more attainable while maintaining high standards of design and performance.
Accessibility Through Usage: Boats are designed to be easier to own, charter, and maneuver, thanks to modular layouts and ergonomic features that simplify life on board.
Upmarket Through Value: The experience is enriched through refined design, sustainable materials, and personalization options, as seen in the Beneteau Gran Turismo range/Alpine series, GT Trawler 63, Lagoon 82, Prestige M7.
Monohulls and Multihulls:
As the world leader in sailing, Groupe Beneteau offers a complete range to meet every expectation — from the Beneteau First 30, accessible from €100,000 and designed for both racing and sporty cruising, to the upcoming First 60, a 60-foot blend of performance and elegance. The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415 stands out for its accessibility in both usage and price, while the new Beneteau Oceanis 47 and 52 combine cruising comfort with cutting-edge innovation.
In the multihull segment, the Lagoon 38 serves as an accessible entry point to modern catamarans, particularly for charter. At the other end of the spectrum, the Lagoon Eighty2 — the Group’s largest catamaran — focuses on premium customization. The Excess 13 adds even more sensations to the sailing experience.
Dayboating:
With the launch of the new Four Winns TH33 and TH38 , the entry and mid-range segments are evolving significantly. Along with iconic models like the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 9.0 CC, Merry Fisher 10.95, Beneteau Antares 9 New and 12, they provide a comprehensive dayboating offering across Europe and the United States.
Motor Yachting:
From the Beneteau Swift Trawler 37 — designed for autonomy and accessible cruising — to the Beneteau Gran Trawler 63 — built for comfort and long-distance voyages — to the new generation Gran Turismo 35, 40, and 50, Groupe Beneteau addresses the needs of offshore cruising enthusiasts.
In the Prestige universe, the F4.3 opens the range, while the M7, the flagship yacht, embodies the space, elegance, and refinement of premium motoryachting.
JEANNEAU SEALOFT 480: A FLOATING LOFT DESIGNED FROM REAL USAGE
A major premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Sealoft 480 inaugurates a new range for the Jeanneau brand and fully embodies Groupe Beneteau’s approach.
Designed as a floating loft, this boat redefines the boating experience. Based on real navigation data and tested by 120 boaters across Europe and North America, every detail of the Sealoft 480 has been conceived to improve life on board: modular living spaces that promote circulation, simplified maneuvers, and a 30 to 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to conventional boats.
“This is not just a boat. It’s a new category — a floating loft, a fluid space, a complete ecosystem of autonomy and simplicity,” says Gianguido Girotti.
It offers a new way to experience the sea: accessible, intuitive, and responsible — true to Jeanneau’s promise: Pure experience at sea.
SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION: TANGIBLE RESULTS THAT ARE TRANSFORMING BOATING
Groupe Beneteau is making measurable progress toward its 2030 goal of reducing CO₂ emissions intensity by 30%.
In 2024, its industrial sites reduced energy consumption by 26%, and 56% of its suppliers are now EcoVadis certified.
Product Innovations:
Excess 11 48V Hybrid: the most attractive electric catamaran on the market.
Lagoon 82: flagship catamaran using 45% bio-sourced resin, reducing CO₂ emissions by 10 tons per boat.
Lagoon Yachts range: from Lagoon 51 to Lagoon 82, now 100% bio-resin.
Elium recyclable resin: 61 tons used across boats from 30 to 60 feet.
“Every innovation we deploy translates into tangible results — for our customers and for the environment,” emphasizes Bruno Thivoyon.
AMBITIOUS PRODUCT PLAN: 66 MODELS IN 3 YEARS
With 66 models to be launched by 2027 — including 19 presented at Cannes and 14 world premieres — Groupe Beneteau is executing an ambitious and unprecedented plan.
These launches span its three market segments and nine brands, reflecting the Group’s strength and its leadership ambition.
“Our 19 new models and 14 world premieres at Cannes reflect our ambition: the right proposition for every customer, unforgettable experiences, and a sustainable approach. Bringing dreams to water, our mission, continues,” concludes Bruno Thivoyon.
