Within the Group strategy strengthening its industrial management, Groupe Beneteau apppointed Michel Bussière as Director of Quality for the Boating Division, effective on 1 July 2016. Michel Bussière is in charge of the design and management of the Groupe Beneteau quality system of the boating division. The quality system encompasses three key areas: product development, suppliers and production. Michel Bussière is also in charge of certification procedures.
Before joining Groupe Beneteau, Michel Bussière was Director of Quality and Transverse Coordination at Herakles for four years, a Group Safran company in Bordeaux (France). He led the company’s quality and continuous improvement policy as well as the industrial coordination linked to the investments and the information systems in place.
Previously he held several positions within Snecma Propulsion Solide for 23 years, in particular in project design, production and management. He was most recently Director of Quality Safety Environment (QSE), Progress and Tests in the field of thermostructural composite materials.
Michel Bussière has acquired a solid knowledge of composite materials through his long industrial experience in the military, space and aeronautical sectors in France. An graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aéronautique (ENSMA), he holds an Advanced Certificate in Economic Management Specialisation (EM Lyon) and completed the Defense & Aerospace Advanced Study Cycle (CESDA – Sciences Po Bordeaux). He speaks French and English.
